Sam Harris VS Jordan Peterson

I'm sorry to say, but the human social aspects such as kindness and love predates all kinds of religion. Both animals (who obiously don't are religious) do have these sets of behaviors totally independant from religious views. When human beings read scripters, we, not the books seek out the wisdom presented. We are the authors and the interpretors of whats is good or what is bad. In other words, we never needed religion for our social communitys to thrive and we'll never have to. The problems arise are when we systematically following a structure such as religion without the proper tools such as skepticism. Only then, can we finally get rid of all of the problems of dogmatism from religion and political ideologies that tend to make people narrowminded in a much needed openminded world.

Furthermore, I need to make my stance on the history of human inaccurate views of our place in the universe. Humankind has a vast history of trying to make the world around them revolve around themselves. These failed viewpoints over the millenia has made us much clooser (in my mind) to the ultimate truth. The truth that we simply don't know enough to make any real truthful claims of the universe other than our knowledge from science and philosopy so far. I personally have come to the conclusion that from our (the human race on this planet) mistakes in the past about why we are here and that there's something "special" about us is plain and simply wrong in the sense we tended to think. I believe the universe is so vast and so old that almost anything within the laws of physics
are allowed to happen, how extremely uncommonly it may be. I predict lifeforms being evolved with the right enviorment in the universe is extremely, extremely rare. That said, when they actually do evolve, the only lifeforms that can tell the tale are they ones "lucky" to be on that particular planet in that particular time. This of course makes our presence in the universe nothing special at all, except we actually got the chance to experience anything at all.

It all adds up. And to think that a "creator" created the universe is simply just another mistake from the human factor that we are "special". It's so easy to see that that's they way a human would think; "we create things, therefore 'something' must have created all else". Best argument against that view is as always; well, what created the creator?
